Heimat (Homeland) To the many Germans serving outside the Reich, in France, Norway or on the high seas, there was only one thought, that of those at home.
Introduction. The air and sea blockade of England continues. The contruction of the Atlantic wall has begun, from northern Norway to the Spanish/French boarder. The RAF continue to bomb Germany and the occupied countries, but the weather is having a serious effect on both sides of the English Channel.
In Albania the Greek offensive has slowed down and the Italians have dug in. The German plan to send mountain troops have been put on hold for the moment. In Egypt the British Army of the Nile has gone over to the offensive and have pushed the Italians back over the border into Cirenaica, in Libya. In the battle for Sidi Barrani, the Italians lost 38.000 men as POWs. All is quiet on the Italian East African front.
